I've been checking the forum almost every day now, and nothing new ever comes up. People should be posting! Just a thought. I mean, posting is reccomended to keep a forum healthy and strong. It has to eat its daily "post" cereal. Who else has noticed that the forum doesn't seem to be getting its daily post reccomendation?

Well, Plecsarebetta and myself have probably posted ourselves out!

Apart from it being a stupid time of year, for myself I'm now spread between three forums.

I'm also trying to setup a web page to display and link my fish pics, AND network all our home PC's along with the internet connection ('cos my pics are on the wrong computer!).

I need to install a new video card 'cos my kids have multi-gigabyte games that need more 3D rendering power!

And my fish won't stop breeding! Where am I expected to put the fry!?

They're all driving me NUTS! haaaaa haaa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! (manical laughter fades off into the distance....)

Actually the Livebearers have been held in check lately. Whenever I trim my plants, it allows the Angels to hunt them (fry) down.

Otherwise I've had Bristlenose, Cory's and, Keyholes breed in Dec. I'm expecting my second batch (for this year) of Cory's to hatch today.

Well, I've now got two lots of Cory Fry coming along nicely. I've applied a few things I've picked up in these Forums, and feel I'll have an improved survival rate this time round. I've just passed that critical 10th day stage with the first batch, and they look good.

I've got my Network (LAN) up and running. Had a few delays. Bought a new 3D Video adapter for my daughters games (Sims 2, Simpsons Hit & Run). I let the salesman talk me into a card other than the one I'd researched. Blew our budget by almost half again ($120 increased to $170). But I researched again when we got home, as it turns out, I got a $350 card for $170, so I felt better.

I had this happen with a Microscope I bought my other Daughter for Christmas. The guy got the boxes mixed up (they're all just brown cardboard). I ended up with a $500 better model Microscope for $350.

Anyway, I've never seen this before, but the video card must be connected direct to the computers power supply. So we installed, the games came up great, then 'pop' - blew our power supply. $80 later, replaced our 450watt power supply with a new 550watt.

The only thing I'm disappointed in, is that it doesn't have a 'pass-through' to power the monitor through the computer. So I'll have to modify it with cannibalised parts from the old power supply.

I've put three new fluro's in my main tank, and the algae has gone wild. So I'm waiting for my 30 baby Bristlenose to get large enough to avoid being eaten by the Angelfish. Then they can go back in and clean up the tank. So that's two or three weeks off.

And whilst I'm on the subject of Microscopes... I've found all sorts of interesting things in the tank water! I'm actually eyeing off a Microscope Video Camera I saw in the Electronics catalogue. That should make for some interesting pics! They also have a submersable camera, so pictures from 'inside' the tank!

And since my Network's now up, I can get my Fish photos into my Web Page, and Post a few more interesting Topics. Here endeth the Blog...
