These fish get massive in the wild, up to 3' long
but only reach about 15" in the home aquarium,
they feed on live foods,and are apparently very hard
to train to take anything prepared.

crazy stuff, i imagine they are not too common in LFS's.
i owe u a bit of thanks too, i'm working on a vampire story just now and u gave me a great idea for part of the story that i hadnt thought of already. i'll tell u the details later, but thanks in the meantime.

You take a look at the way the jaw rises way up across the face. It's not unlike some Deep Sea Marine Fish, from way down in the black. You almost expect a little light to be dangling from it's forehead.
