Here's a couple of Rams we had. I had three layings from this pair. You can see the Females pink tummy. I was caught off-guard by the small fry size, and so never successfully raised any.

I bought five originally, 2 Males and 3 Females. But they were all very territorial, and it didn't take long for a couple of them to stress out. These two here paired up within a couple of days of getting them home. And we had our first laying a week later. Of course the other three were gone by then.

I think we had these two for three or four months before they died. I bought a couple more, but they hardly lasted a fortnight. I haven't bothered with Rams since, as much as I love those colors!

Sux you keep losing them,I know they are extremely sensative but if you can find the ideal set up for them you'll have babies coming outta your butt

I'm hoping my Keyholes will have another go. I don't think their first lot were fertile.

I just love them, but if they're not lasting in your tank then they probably won't last in mine, because I don't think my water conditions are as good as yours. Bummer. I need to come up with some idea for a larger, but not too large, centerpiece fish. Maybe silver dollars as I was thinking originally...

Keyholes seem a bit drab first up. But you'd bee surprised how they grow on you. And they have lot's of personality, far more than Angels.
