My wife has a great eye for snails in the tanks. One is long and slender and the other is a typical snail, I guess. Is there any way to i.d. these? |

In a word yes, post pictures and lets have a look.
the one that is long and slender, sounds like it could be a trumpet snail, and the other one could be a ramshorn, but pictures could help with a positive id _________________ the only stupid questions are the ones you dont ask

Pretty much a definate on the trumpet, but depending on the size the typical could be a number of things. Pics would definatly help though. Even different types of ramshorns look different. _________________

Some people may say the Malaysian Snail is long and slender.
My Clown Loaches are getting lots of treats of these, right now. _________________ Angels, Black Mollies, Bristlenose', Clown Loaches, Cory Aeneus, Gibby, Guppies, Hockey-stick Tetras, Keyhole Cichlids, Otocinclus. |

They are in the hospital tank because I don't have any cats in there regularly, or at least I shouldn't. |
