WOOOHOOO!!!

My wife kept pestering me about the new male BN, sying that he doesn't ever leave the cave. I told her he was preparing the cave for the eggs. Well I went and looked last night with a flaslight and there were eggs! The male was fanning them with his fins and staying very close them. Is there anything inparticular I should do or watch out for? Or should I just let them do what needs to be done and leave them be? I'm so happy! I've wanted BN babies for awhile.

Personaly i would leave the male to get on with guarding and fanning the eggs. Have we not got any pics ?

I can barely see the eggs let alone get a decent pic of them. I have to turn my head sideways and look just above the gravel, but just below the edge of the wood that they are in and thats if the male isn't in the way. I can try, but I don't think the pics will reveal anything but the males behind.

I saw a couple of the fry swimming around the tank last night. It looks like the male and female are courting again.

Thanks clunk. I counted 6 last night. They blend in so well it will be hard to determine how many there are until they are older and easier to see.
