Well i have got back to work at last Very Happy

Its only taken 9 months, mind you still have to go to physio, but its great to be back at work even if it feels like my body is rejecting me Shocked

God i ache all over, forgotten just how heavy my job can be, as well as all the muscle's i aint used for so long. (Brain dont count as i never used it Exclamation

That's good news.

What have they got you doing, fetching the left handed hammers, or something like that ?

Down to the shop for a tin of black & white checkered paint ?

Don't forget to ask for the long weight.

And a jar of elbow grease.

And a replacement bubble for the spirit level.

And a bag of drill holes.

I'm afraid the 'sky-hooks' one has always been a bit of a puzzler for me. It doesn't seem to relate to an actual object, like the other references.

We had a band here in the 70's, called "Skyhooks". The lead singer, I believe was a carpenter. Perhaps that's how they came by that name. He wiped himself off in a helicopter crash, just a couple of months back, during a training flight. A real nice bloke.

When we get some idiot site agent that thinks we can put a platform up in a hard to reach place, they normaly call it a small job that will take about 10 minutes Rolling Eyes

Not a good situation.

I work for the Prime Minister, and he lets us have 100% for the first 45 weeks, then it drops to 75%. What a nice bloke. Mind you, it was the opposing party that set all of that up. Rolling Eyes

Depends what you are used too, yea it would have been nice to be paid 100% for the first 45 weeks. But it aint never gonna happen for the likes of the construction industry apart from the fat cats
