80% of the kribs that were in the 50 gallon, I traded yesterday. I felt a little guilty, but the 50 gallon is going to be my wifes tank. I traded the parents, which were about to spawn again (for the 3rd time in 4 months) and about 50 babies. There is still about 30 baby kribs left. Once they get bigger, I will attempt to catch them. I'm really surprised that the 50 gallon didn't crash. 13 plecos, 1 synodontis cat and almost 100 kribs (mostly fry). I have to give myself a pat on the back. Never again will I have an overstocked tank as bad as the 50 gallon was.

I wonder if my tank is nearing that mark.

250 litre. 6 litre filter @4xtank/hr.
17 Bristlenose, 20 Guppies, 4 Angels, 2 Keyholes, 2 Otocinclus, 2 Clown Loaches, about 30 odd Corys.

What did you get for your Kribs?

That's what I've been thinking... and I knew there was something else - 8 Hockeystick tetras,

Well, 10 odd Bristlenose will get traded for Oto's. That should be a good move, waste production wise.

Guppies, and Cory's are 'give-aways'. And I've a handful slotted to go shortly. I'd toss all the Guppies if I could (but Kids...).

I still hope to score a pair of dwarf cichlids...

I got $15 for all of them. Some of the fry were 3/4" and the others were no bigger than 1/2".

Just cash. I thought you may have swapped...

My Bristlenose are now 6 months old. So they're a good size, 1 - 1.5", maybe even larger. I'm sure there's a 2 incher there. Definitely good trading value. I may actually measure a couple on the glass tomorrow.

I don't want to see my babies go ! Sad

Spot (dad) was out tonight, what a monster! He's grown so much. I'm trying to get some video of them at the moment.

I didn't need anything when I traded them. I'm trying to be smart about setting this 135 gallon up. No more fish unless they are for the 135 gallon as starter fish, then to be moved to my wifes 50 gallon once the 135 is cycled.

I have always cycled with fish. I haven't had any losses during the cycling period. Now that I have 2 seasoned tanks to take media from, it should be over and done fairly quickly.
