The Eels look great ! Are they very active ? Nocturnal ?
The silver foil behind the betta has me intrigued. Is there a purpose, or it just looks good ? _________________ Angels, Black Mollies, Bristlenose', Clown Loaches, Cory Aeneus, Gibby, Guppies, Hockey-stick Tetras, Keyhole Cichlids, Otocinclus. |

hi...
i read sumwhere that silver foil can be used in place of background paper....also it kinda compliments my betta so i decided to let it stay...was tired of the regular background paper....
the eels r nocturnal but one of them moves around in the day too.... they r pretty friendly and none of the fish have any issues with them |

Will they get much larger ?
You sort of expect a creature like that to be reasonably agressive. _________________ Angels, Black Mollies, Bristlenose', Clown Loaches, Cory Aeneus, Gibby, Guppies, Hockey-stick Tetras, Keyhole Cichlids, Otocinclus. |

Have you tried bloodworms ? What did the lfs feed them on ? they could be feeding at night while you are not around, or it could just be they are still settling down in your tank. _________________ the only stupid questions are the ones you dont ask

Which was one of the reasons i mentioned sand as a substrate, as eels like to bury them selves, as it is their natural behaviour _________________ the only stupid questions are the ones you dont ask

i got a very efficient rugf so i cant change it as of now...the eels will have to manage....they have found a lot of hiding spots and come out at night after the lights r out..the eels ate bloodworms today.... |

I guess they wait for lunch to come by, then spring out. _________________ Angels, Black Mollies, Bristlenose', Clown Loaches, Cory Aeneus, Gibby, Guppies, Hockey-stick Tetras, Keyhole Cichlids, Otocinclus. |
