Some suggestions on Forum groupings:

'Aquarium Chat' you could call "The Glass (Fish) House". (I know 'Tank Talk' was a problem).

'Tropical Fish' is redundant, remove it.

Put 'Coldwater Plants' & 'Tropical Plants' both under a 'Plants' banner.

Also under the 'Plants' banner, you could have 'Algae'. The good and the bad.

Put 'Coldwater Fish' under the general 'Fish Types' banner with the tropicals.

Create a 'Food and Feeding' or 'Food and Diet' catagory - users can discuss off the shelf foods, and well as natural, what to feed fry, etc.

And while I'm on a roll - 'Fish Health' - talk about specific parasites & deseases & remedies... (maybe health, food, and Tank Talk could be grouped under one banner...)

I feel a more logical sequence of the Forum Banners, top to bottom, would be:

Aquatic Babble
Community
Identification
Fish Types and Breeding (maybe change 'Types' to 'Species')
Foods and Feeding
Fish Deaths (maybe change 'Deaths' to 'Ailments & Remedies' or 'Health')
Ponds
Plants

And if I may push my luck, yet another suggestion...

Options at the top of the Forum, list: View Posts since last visit, View your Posts and, View unanswered Posts. These generally allow you to catch new posts, but if you login, only have time to do one or two Posts, then logout, you cannot catch what other recent Posts may exist, without going through each Forum Topic by Topic.

Is there an option in the software to have a 'View all recent Posts', and maybe set it to the last two or three days?

If we're trying to leave a link to Aquatic Babble on other sites, perhaps we should have a Catagory, or Section, that is devoted to 'reciprocal' links? This section should only be writable by Admin and Moderators.

I was thinking about where you said "Fish Types" could be changed to "species." Would "Fish families" work? Since I have the different groups (catfish, etc.) it's not really individual species.

I added an other animals section. I was thinking of having the snails and other inverts as one topic, but I was thinking that they are so different, it might be better to keep them seperate.

Yes, by all means. It's certainly the most accurate wording. (you can amend my PM as appropriate).

I think the 'Animal' Catagory will be fine. If it doesn't work out, we can always merge them later.
