Don't know the age as I picked him froma friend. He's about 7" total length.

Loving the royal Very Happy

Wish we could get more plecos cheap here.. there is only 4 or 5 species that we can get for under $100. And thats if you know people (not from shops).

thats not good news i didnt know you guys could only get about 4/5 species are there not many fishkeepers in australia ?

funky is this where you get your plecs from ? had a quick look they have some nice species shame thay are out of stock on L046 the most beautifull plec i have ever owned Very Happy

I haven't got any plecs from there. They are a little pricey. I can usually find a breeder or order the plecs I want. If I can't get it local, I will travel to get it.

Not sure if this is allowed on this forum but a few links to some aussie fish sites. I know of quite alot of aussie fish keepers, but most live in QLD.

Hah! That sig looks like a Matchbox Car I once had!

The Links aren't a problem. We'd planned at one point to have a dedicated corner for them. Probably buried in the 'to do' stack. Perhaps part of our FAQ, whenever we get to it.

I'd noticed myself that an unproportional amount of fishy Sites are in Qld. Perhaps the climate up there is conducive to it?
