Does anyone name their fish? I have a fair amount of fish, yet I have only named two. They are Garfield, my Corydoras Aeneus Catfish and Skeletor, my Glass Catfish.

Technically, I don't name my fish.

However, my Daughters do so anyway.

And I find the names handy references for my Tank Diaries, especially for working out longevity.

None of my fish have names right now, but I'll name any unique ones. My betta was named Sapphire, and my BN pleco was Ugly Dude.

I don't really name my fish anymore. Too many fish to remember names. I did name a male betta once. His name was Terminator. He was the coolest fish. I could put my hand in his bowl and he would swim into my hand and I could hold him. He would follow me around the room, watching me. When I cleaned his bowl, I didn't need a net to catch him. I would just grab him and put him in a cup.
