Cool! Have a look on the females stomach to see if there is a dark spot near the tail, and if there is you probably have a pregnant mollie! Very Happy

Don't get home till 8, light are on a 12 on 12 off system, so go on around 7 and off at 7, i might just have to turn them back on when i get home though, just for a short time, that wouldn't hurt.

i also have my lights on a timer mine are set at 12 hours also but mine come on at 10am and go off at 10pm the reason i do it this way is there is more time for me to sit and enjoy my tanks/fish later on as i am at work durring the day. it would'nt hurt if you were to change your time on your lights just keep the same time(10 hours) and then when you got home from work you could see what is going on in your tank which i think would be better for you Smile

easiest way would be to invest in some timer plugs then it dont matter if you forget or are late Cool

I once had a Male lyretail Black Mollie. Very nice. Found a sililar looking Female, and took her home. I was blessed on the way, as I emptied 3 fish into the tank.

Unfortunately I also had an Angel, who equalised that population descrepancy. Later the Female Mollie got nice and plump. So I popped her into a breeding trap. Got home from work that evening, she's belly up, with a hole the size of a pencil end, in her abdoman.

I have no idea what happened. The Male, he went forever, he outlived so many other fish.
