Cane Toad's are one of our 'introduced species'.

There actually is a frighteningly accurate reference to them, in a Simpson's episode, where Bart has to come to Australia to get his 'kick up the bum!'

I could be wrong, but beyond being the only country where it is legal to eat your national emblem(s), having the largest adult population that doesn't know the words to their own National Athem, we may also be in the top running for the largest quantity of introduced species having reached plaque proportions.

After going over this one again, I'm thinking that Bristlenose I picked up of the floor the other morning, perhaps I should have dropped him back in the tank. He was stiff as a board tho' !

To be honest i would have tried putting it back in the water as some L numbers burrow into the banks and get left there durring the dry season, but stay in their holes untill the rains come again, to raise the water levels Cool
