Just sharing my good news!

The corys I ordered are in & I'll be getting them within 30 minutes. I'm picking up 3 more pandas and 4 melini. Thursday I'm getting a breeding pair of aeneus.

So...My 55 gallon catfish retreat will include:

4 c. panda
4 c. melini
3 c. aeneus
6 c. paleatus (eventually - when I move them all out of the breeding tank)

Plus some wood, lots of java ferns & some java moss. I'm psyched!

Is your 55gal relatively new? It seems you're adding quite a bit to it? I may be joining the Panda Club soon! The Wife has taken an unusual interest in the fish recently, and she want's some C. panda, Clown Loaches, Ghost Knife, Oto's (which I was getting anyway), and some sort of red Tetra! Hey - who am I to complain? If she signs the card, I'll spend the money! I might throw in some Kribs too.

May have to move some Cory's, and Bristlenose tho'...

No...the 55 isn't new. It's a very established tank. It being a Cory only tank is new.

And I LOVE otos! I didn't put any in the 55...I was afraid cooler water changes might mess with them - not sure if they're as hardy as the Corys. I sure would love to have some, though.

Oh - and I may not be getting the Pandas. Seems the flight from wherever stressed them out - they looked terrible. My LFS tried a new supplier. Anyway, I'm giving it 48 hours to see if they come around before I take any home.

The melini however were great looking and perky...so I took all 5 they got in. They act a lot like pandas - always flitting around. In fact, the sole panda I have right now follows them around.
