This is one of my older pics. I came across it, looking for something else. I don't have any of that Stargrass anymore. That's a great tank filler, that stuff. Fast grower. I don't think there's any of the red stuff left either. Can't remember the name right now. Originates in Sri-Lanka, I believe.

Anyhow, I feel it's a nice calming pic.

Yeah - thanks !

It doesn't look quite so nice right now. I've been chopping out the Cabomba for the last couple of days. Collected up about twenty Guppy fry, in the process (as always Rolling Eyes ).

But the Algae, the detritus I've stirred up, and the 'headless' look of the plants I've chopped back, it's a war zone !

Pretty much routine. Although I have a new plant I haven't ID'd as yet. It's similar to the Stargrass in basic appearance, darker, but not as bushy.

I'm sort of hoping to really spread that around the tank, instead of the Cabomba. So I'm hitting the latter rather hard.

You've seen my thread on Hides, and Logs. I'm keen to get a bit more wood in there, but maintain the green at the same time.

Yeah, both you and Funkster. Not much greenery.

I have whats-her-face's book. Kellerman, is it ? Translated from Dutch or German or something. More expensive than the big book of Dr Axelrods.

Anyway, just haven't got round to looking it up yet. But, hey! Why not? I'll post it, and we'll see who gets closest.
