On Aquatic Babble, there are three ways to track down Posts, you may not have read.

The first, and more time consuming method, is to follow the 'New Posts' Markers, down the left hand side of the page.

Two quicker methods are available through the following options found toward the upper right hand side of the main Forum Index.

View posts since last visit
View your posts
View unanswered posts

The second method, View posts since last visit, will list those posts lodged since the time you last logged out of Aquatic Babble.

Note, that if you logout again now, before reading all of these listed Posts, the balance will not appear in the list, the next time you login. You will need to find them by the Markers, as per the first method.

The third method, View unanswered posts, technically does not list Post's unread by you. It actually lists Posts that have never been responded to. But often, this is the result of an early logout from method two.

It's worth checking method three occasionally, you may well find an interesting topic you've previously missed. And of course, it may be disheartening for Members to not receive any response at all, for their effort.

Recent Posts Shortcut

Now this may vary, depending on your Browser, but using Firefox:

Goto the Aquatic Babble Index page,

Right Mouse Click on View posts since last visit,

Select Bookmark this Link,

Name your Bookmark, and Create it on the Bookmarks Toolbar, right there above your page.


Now, rather than having to find your way back to the Recent Posts list, especially after posting a reply, you can jump straight there, with one click !
