I'm not sure how to achieve it. No matter what I try, I don't seem able to get an 80 x 80 image to less than 8k ! |

Sorry, I should have come back to say I've managed it. Using a second program to convert and reduce the file size.
Thanks just the same tho'. |

Yeah, just make sure you're using a smaller file like a .jpg Don't use bitmaps, they tend to be large _________________ 29 Gallon Freshwater with some Silver Dollars and other Tetras |

Well, I was using Photoshop, and the combination just wasn't working.
I can't remember how I got to it, but I output a BMP from Photoshop, and used Imaging for Windows' to convert that to a JPG. It came out about 3 or 4k less than a JPG direct from Photoshop.
They obviously use the JPG algorithm differently. But it was annoying in Photoshop, the JPG's being just 1k too large! |

my avatar won't work...I have it 7k and 50 by 51 pixels... I would have it larger, but I kept making it small in an effort to make it work!
if I have ne even number of pixels by pixels, would that work? what am I doing wrong? _________________ ~~~~~*LAYNE*~~~~~ |

The maximum size is 150 x 150 pixel and up to 10 k, so it should work. Try using the larger size. |
