Why isn't it full? You definately need more decor, plants, rocks, wood and stuff like that, for a more homey feel for the residents.

I put many plants but the plastic plants were dug up and the real plants were eaten.

About a foot. I dont fill it all the way because the filter causes a lot of current

You don't have anything in there that would dig up fake plants or eat live ones. Why don't you have a hood and light? The filter making too much current is a good thing. It keeps your fish a little more fit and provides good surface agitation for oxygen exchange.

Pray It does look a bit sparce. Plants would make them feel more at home. I bury mine, fake, deeper than that little plastic piece on the bottom. Maybe your filter is too big for the size of the tank. Cute fish, though. Cool Platties?? And is that a shrimp I see in the back R corner? Or just a decoration? Whenever I have my water that low it makes a waterfall sound & just makes me feel like peeing all the time! Shhh Very aggravating.

The thing in the right back corner is a blue lobster or crayfish.

That was my thought as well.

I see the Tetra cannister of Spirulina flakes. It took me forever to go through one that size, no bugger would touch it. I ended up mixing it very thinly through some Sera flakes.
