My friend set up a new tank and had 2 parrots in with 2 green terrors and a red devil. The parrots were getting bullied and my friend was going to trade them in. My wife told him that we would take them. He came over later and dropped them off. My wife loves them, but I think they are kinda ugly.

She has come to like the hobby. She takes care of 3 bettas from feeding to cleaning. She makes sure the water is warm enough and if its not she will turn on heating pad underneath their bowls. She has done exceptionally well for a beginner.

I look after all of the tanks except for the bettas. She is my eyes and ears for all the tanks and fish. If there is any small detail that is out of place, she lets me know immediately, even if I'm at work. She really does care about the fish. She was concerned about the parrots when they started getting black splotches all over them. I did some research and found out it was due to their color morphing. She still was concerned about them after I told her what it was from.

Well that should help if she keeps an eye on your fish for you, as the sooner you spot something wrong the quicker you can try to sort it out Wink

Its hard when I'm at work and she calls me and she is frantic about a fish that I can't do anything with until I get home. It is nice to know when something is amiss and you didn't see it.

I've got some Parrot pics from my travels, I'll post when I sort myself out...

The individuals I saw, I felt were deformed. Well, the pics will show that ! So I must concur, they are not an attrative fish.
