I'm afraid it didn't keep my attention for very long. I prefer puzzle and strategy based games.

My youngest (11) has a thing for Driving (Racing), and Flight Simulators, at the moment.

I am a "part time" gamer. i'll take to a game and get totally engrossed in it for a while. over last yr or 2 my fav games have been ... Shogun Total war, Close Combat, Commandos 1 & 2, Sims 1 & 2 (with pets add on), and a great WW2 flight combat game that i forget the title of. put me in the cockpit of a hurricane or spitfire and those damn nazis don't stand a chance, lol.

. it is a modern infantry combat simulator designed by the US military and given away free on the net. its a quite a big game to DL about 3 Gb and needs a decent PC to run, but its great fun. u play online with other human players against either teams of other humans or AI as the enemy. the cynic in me cant help thinking it is a bit of a recruiting tool but its still a cracking game. teaches u how to use all the modern american and some opposition forces weapons. to go online u have to pass basic training like marksmanship and assault course. if u want to u can also do medic and special forces training.

...give me a M4 rifle with a suppressor and watch out, im lethal, although i do carry medi-pacs in case i need to treat a team mate, lol.

Age of Empires, and it's various versions, I enjoy with the kids. We've networked it, so that the computer is plays the Bad Guys, the kids are Peasant Communities, and I'm the 'Crossbow for Hire', protecting them from the Computer.
