This guy in one of the tanks at KLCC Aquarium, Kuala Lumpur.
Everything looked South American to me. I had no pen & paper that day, so I didn't bother reading the tags. I had my brain replaced with a sieve, some years ago...

Not south american, but southeast asia as the fish is Labeo chrysophekadion (Morulius chrysophekadion) or black shark and can reach a size of 2 foot, but is a very nice looking fish that has a green sheen to it under the right lighting

Thanks, Clunk !
Which section should I move it to ? Some of these fish are beyond the scope of my books (and I've more to come !).
Is it a relative of the little Red-tail Black Shark ? There seem some similarities. I enjoy watching my Red-tail sniff about for food, sort of a cross between the behaviour of a Cory, and a regular fish.

It is similar to a red tail black shark, but i would not recomend it for a "normal" community tank, due to its size and can be aggresive.
Both fish are from the Cyprinid family, so that is where it needs placing
