This fella is in a partitioned section of my father-in-laws pond (Malaysia). I haven't put it through the Axelrod book as yet.
It apparently is quite aggressive toward the other fishes.

Thank you.
South American Cichlid. Hasn't got the forehead bump that I've seen on other fish depicted as Red Devils. Could that be an age or sex variation ?
I'll move him into the right section... _________________ Angels, Black Mollies, Bristlenose', Clown Loaches, Cory Aeneus, Gibby, Guppies, Hockey-stick Tetras, Keyhole Cichlids, Otocinclus. |

Some red devils don't have humps (koks) at all. I had two fully grown ones, once. Neither had koks. From the look of this guy/gal, I am betting it won't grow a kok. But, who knows...... How big is it? |

At a guess, about 180 cm. _________________ Angels, Black Mollies, Bristlenose', Clown Loaches, Cory Aeneus, Gibby, Guppies, Hockey-stick Tetras, Keyhole Cichlids, Otocinclus. |

the fish you have pictured is either a Centrinellum or Centrinellum/Labiatum cross. Labiatums rarely get humps
The Midas or Centrinellum usually do. The reason I believe this is a cross of the two is that it doesn't have the large protruding lips like a labiatum. Both are of the "Red Devil" complex... |
