natures balance in many areas can be very complex. it may be hard with out much analysis to see any ill effects of this species being introduced to an alien environment but say for example it eats a food that another animal relies on, doesn't have to be a fish, they could have an impact on that species which then effects the animal that eats that one, etc etc etc.

on a lighter plus note, what an awsome sight to see such a big shoal of plecs. plus i am suprised that neither of you have mentioned the L number yet. Laughing
