Ok well my betta apperntly has the cottony funguss sickness, or so tahts what it looks like. Not sure how he got it.. thinking it was the snail, that most likely gave it to me. So anyways, I got some fungus medicine from API to clean it. But it turned the water into a lime-green jello color. Is that natural and supposed to happen? Or, is that something really bad? Cause, its just really freaky looking... and will it hurt the snail? I'm guessing it probably wont, but never can be too sure.

Most medications will taint the water with colour so i would not worry too much about it, as it will return to normal when you do a water change, just follow the instructions on the bottle. Which medication have you used ? With it being api would i be right in thinking melafix ? If so then you should not have any problems with it

The only thing written on it is.. API, Pro Series, Fungus Cure, Anti-fungal fish medication.. and lists the things it cures... dont see anything like melafix or nothing

If you read the information on the site it does state that it will stain the water, and to remove the discolouration, you should use actvated carbon, i personaly would not use activated carbon while, medicating a tank as it will also remove the medication. Personaly iwould do a water change to get the water back to normal when the treatment has finnished.
