Hello, just joined the forum. I have three tanks at the moment, one of which i have just converted to lake malawi cichlid tank. However i fell in love with cockatoo dwarf cichlids in the shop. I understand these cannot be kept with full cichlids due to feeding and aggression but I was wondering if the dwarfs could be kept with angel fish in my other tank and i was also considering getting rams also to go with the angels. Is this advisable, does anyone know how compatible these will be all together. (it is a large tank and well planted, i will also be putting more rocks in.
Thanks

First can i say hi and To the site.
Not sure about the cockatoo dwarf cichlids but you can keep the rams with angelfish quite happily, in fact i think they compliment each other with their colours

Thank you for the welcome and the advise. I am now converting my larger tank into south american cichlid tank so i will be on the look out for rams and some more angels. I have just purchased a fire eel for my malawi tank and he is just wonderful!
