I'm very worried about my Dastible! He's just been sitting there for what seems like ages, not moving at all. He's looking very thin and wasted. He hasn't touched a scrap of food recently.

I'm unsure as to the water quality, it's been very difficult to get good readings. But I do know that the water hasn't been changed for an extremely long time.

I'd hate to lose him. He's been around for so long, it's like he is one of the family. If anyone can give me some insight as to what the problem is, I'd be most grateful.

Looks like a severe case of fossilization. It is probably too late for him, theres's nothing you can do. I'm sorry. Sad I recommend you not try to flush him though. Very Happy

reminds me of when my Coelacanth went missing for ages, what seemed like 80 million years but then totaly unexpectedly it appeared at the bottom most, darkest part of my tank.

maybe i'm just being a bit too deep though Rolling Eyes

here is a pic of my girl friend swimming with it ...
