Does any australians know of any Discus breeders in oz?

Just wondering if any one knows anyone that breeds Discus here in Australia. I am trying to chase some where to get some for somebody, If anyone can pass on a name and number i'd be grateful, im not looking for 1 or 2 fish im looking for quite a few.

Mel & Tony: This mob is in Melbourne. They breed and sell Cichlids, nothing else (except Parrots!) At the very least, they may be able to give you a local contact...

I don't know what sort of quantity you're after, but most half decent aquariums should be able to order some in. Do you have a 'Trading Post' up there? That could be worth a look. Some Import, and Wholesale (direct to public) Aquariums advertise in it. And often you will find a few private breeders.

Not to much up here, we are up on the far north coast of nsw and coffs harbour would be the closest aquariums to us and quite honestly they are not exactly the best. I think a few years back my folks { who use to breed discus } actualy ordered fish from melbourne and they courriered them to them on the central coast. It is definately worth a shot and giving them a call. Thanks
